The group comprises the half-elf rogue Vax’ildan, the gnome bard Scanlan Shorthalt, the human paladin Keyleth, the Dragonborn cleric Pike Trickfoot, and the half-orc barbarian Grog Strongjaw, the human wizard Percival Fredrickstein Von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III, and the half-elf ranger Tiberius Stormwind. The series picks up after the first season’s events, with Vox Machina now on a quest to find the Vestiges of the Divergence.
These powerful artefacts are essential to Vox Machina’s ultimate goal of defeating the Chroma Conclave, an influential group of seven Chromatic Dragons. The team soon learns of the Clasp, an ancient organization dedicated to keeping the Vestiges out of the wrong hands. With the help of the Clasp, Vox Machina sets out to find the Vestiges, battling their way through fierce monsters and powerful villains. Throughout their journey, the group makes unexpected allies and learns the secrets of ancient power.

In the previous episode, Vex and the other members were going to the Rimecleft , Grog yawns, and Vex asks him if he did not get enough sleep last night. Grog lies to her because he had nightmares last night, so he could not get enough sleep. Craven Edge orders him to feed him something. Pike figures out that Grog has been acting strangely and he is too focused on his sword lately.
she shares her thought with Scanlan, but he tells her that Grog has always been dumb, so it’s hard to tell when he is acting strange. They finally reach the Rimecleft Keyleth tells everyone that the entire range is eternally cold except for Pyrah. Vax says it’s hard to believe that they will find a Sphinx in a forsaken place like that. Percy offered a jacket to Vex’ahlia even though he got a runny nose because of the extreme cold. Keyleth uses her power and produces fire so all the members could warm themselves for a while.
