The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 7 recap
The title for episode 7 was “Expired” What on earth does it mean? We’ll have some lovely moments thanks to Shaun and Lea, but there may be some commotion shortly after because of a pregnant woman who they discover after a vehicle accident. They’ll eventually bring her back to the hospital, but what will happen once she’s there?
Shaun and Lea are on their way to a wedding site when they come upon a tragic automobile accident and uncover Alma (Natalee Linez), a young expectant mother who has been gravely hurt and needs rapid medical assistance. Alma’s health worsens at St. Bonaventure, and Shaun, Drs. Lim and Jordan are obliged to deliver the baby prematurely. Meanwhile, in the all-new “The Good Doctor,” Dr. Glassman is concerned when a character from his past seeks his assistance. In terms of who this future from the past will be, we’re leaning heavily on Glassman’s ex-wife. She’s come to him for a very particular (medical) cause, and he may be hesitant to assist. Why is this the case? After all the two have been through, there may be some worry that he may further muck things up.
The Good Doctor winter finale spoilers
If we had to guess what’s going on in this episode, we’d say it has something to do with Salen Morrison and the events we saw from the previous episode. While we don’t want to label her as a Big Bad. Still, she is certainly the thorn in Shaun’s side, causing constant misery. He doesn’t agree with her on anything, and he could run into a problem here because she doesn’t want the hospital to spend a single cent on this woman’s care. Is there another theory? Others may consider that she discovers Lea doctoring some of Shaun’s scores behind the scenes, which could result in Lea losing her job and Shaun retaliating. He understands that if someone other than Salen was there, or if there was at least another person battling her, certain things would be different at the hospital. Perhaps Lea wouldn’t have felt compelled to do anything like this.
