It was all planned from the beginning to kill Liuyuan as they had been roaming around the town. He also noticed them but didn’t expect them to be scheming on the school.

In episode 14, we will see Zhen Qing sharing the information regarding the test subjects with Mr Liu and Miss Luo Xing Yu. He told them about the escape of test subjects from a laboratory. And he doesn’t have an idea where they are. But he is curious about their way to survive without food.
Later, we see them testing to discover their strengths and weaknesses. We learn from those experiments that the test subject is scared of light.
There are two reasons that caused him to be scared of light. One is his human personality, making him unable to face his current self. And the other one is there’s a natural instinct of a beast within the sequence of genetic modification.
Overall, the upcoming episode will be a roller-coaster ride with many twists and turns. We may learn about those test subjects in depth.
