NEXON has officially confirmed that The First Descendant Patch 1.3.36 will be released on July 30, 2026, bringing a new round of content improvements and bug fixes across all supported platforms.

While the developer has yet to publish the full patch notes, it confirmed that the update will launch simultaneously on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox, with additional details to be shared closer to release.

Patch 1.3.36 launches on July 30

According to the official announcement, Patch 1.3.36 is scheduled to go live at 12:00 a.m. PDT on July 30. NEXON has only provided a brief preview so far, stating that the update will focus on content improvements alongside various bug fixes, while reminding players that the schedule could change if necessary.

Although the developer has not revealed specific gameplay adjustments, the complete list of changes will be published in a separate patch notes post when the update becomes available.

Ahead of the new update, NEXON also shared its latest weekly enforcement report covering July 17 through July 23. During that period, the studio permanently banned 10 accounts, including seven users for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs and three users for exploiting the game’s Open Store payment process.

In addition, one player received a 30-day suspension for unusual gameplay activity, while 377 accounts were issued three-day separate matchmaking penalties after being detected for behavior that violated the game’s operational policies.

NEXON said the enforcement actions were based on both player reports and internal monitoring, encouraging players to continue using the in-game reporting feature whenever they encounter suspicious or abusive behavior. The developer added that it remains committed to maintaining a fair environment for all Descendants as Patch 1.3.36 prepares to roll out later this week.
