Nexon has released an updated list of known issues affecting The First Descendant, giving players a clearer picture of the bugs currently impacting gameplay following the game’s latest updates. The July 15 report outlines multiple gameplay, UI, and performance issues, while also confirming that several of them are already scheduled to be resolved in the upcoming Patch 1.3.35.
The announcement, published on The First Descendant’s official website, covers problems ranging from mission progression and event tracking to crashes and skill-related bugs. While some issues are purely visual, others affect gameplay mechanics and overall stability.
Patch 1.3.35 will address several major gameplay bugs
Among the newest problems acknowledged by Nexon is a bug that sends players back to Albion when changing presets inside the operations area after completing a mission. Another issue causes duplicate mission icons to appear after setting a waypoint on the map.
The developer also addressed concerns surrounding Assemble Event I, where players who have already reached 100% Personal Contribution may notice that additional progress is no longer reflected on the event interface. Nexon clarified that this is only a UI issue and that World Completion continues to be tracked correctly, meaning player progress is not lost.
Several other bugs have also been identified. The Frost Walker in Void Intercept Battle: Extreme may fail to play its introductory cutscene before combat begins and can occasionally stop facing players after using certain skills. Both problems are expected to receive fixes in Patch 1.3.35.
The update also includes a significant balance correction for Nell’s Transcendent Module “Restored Heart.” Nexon confirmed that the intended 60% cooldown reduction is currently not being applied to the Gravitic Order skill. Once fixed, the skill’s cooldown will drop from 40 seconds to 16 seconds, matching its intended behavior.
Performance issues and older problems remain under investigation
Beyond gameplay bugs, Nexon acknowledged several technical issues affecting players. Repeatedly opening and closing the Event UI can occasionally cause game crashes, while viewing the Awesome Burger Bundle in Albion’s shop may produce an unusually bright screen. Missing text in Serena’s skill descriptions for several non-Korean languages has also been confirmed as a localization issue.
The studio also reminded players about previously reported problems that remain unresolved. Owners of Intel 13th- and 14th-generation processors may still encounter crashes displaying an “Out of video memory” error.
According to Nexon, the issue appears to be linked to Intel’s processor instability, and the company continues to reference Intel’s official guidance while awaiting a broader solution.
In addition, certain antivirus software, including Bitdefender and McAfee, may incorrectly quarantine game files. Nexon has published temporary workarounds for affected players and also recommends consulting its support resources if Easy Anti-Cheat fails to function correctly.
Although many of July’s issues are relatively minor, Nexon’s continued updates suggest that the development team is actively tracking player reports. With Patch 1.3.35 already planned to resolve several of the most noticeable bugs, players can expect improvements to stability, UI behavior, and gameplay systems in the near future.
