The First Descendant has issued permanent game bans to 10 players as part of its latest crackdown on abusive behavior. The enforcement report, published on October 23, 2026, covers actions taken between October 16 and October 22 and also lists penalties affecting hundreds of players for disruptive or unusual gameplay activity.

According to the game’s official notice on The First Descendant website, the developer continues to monitor player activity and investigate reports of behavior that violates its operating policies. The latest update outlines several categories of violations, ranging from unauthorized software to the exploitation of the game’s payment systems.

The crackdown resulted in permanent bans for five users accused of creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs. Another five users received permanent bans for exploiting processes related to the Open Store payment system to obtain unfair gains.

These are separate enforcement categories, with five permanent bans recorded in each. The notice also explains that players who wish to contest an Open Store payment exploitation claim can submit an inquiry through the game’s official customer support service. Players dealing with payment-related chargeback claims are directed to contact the platform store where the transaction occurred.

The largest group of penalties targeted uncooperative gameplay. A total of 597 players received separate matchmaking penalties for behavior that violated the game’s operational policies. Another 37 players were penalized after the developer detected unusual gameplay activity.

Together, these categories account for 634 matchmaking penalties. Combined with the 10 permanent bans, the crackdown affected 644 users across the reported categories.

The developer said enforcement actions were based on both player reports and its own monitoring. Players who encounter suspicious or abusive behavior are encouraged to submit reports through the in-game reporting system.
