Nexon has published an updated August Known Issues report for The First Descendant, informing players about several gameplay bugs and technical issues currently affecting the game across Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Updated on August 6, the notice confirms problems with the newly launched Assemble Event II, Harris’s Transcendent Module, and ongoing PC compatibility issues involving Intel processors.

The developer stated that the list will continue to be updated throughout the month as new issues are identified. Players are encouraged to monitor the official notice for future changes and bug fix announcements.

Harris skill bug and event display issue under investigation

Among the newly confirmed issues is a bug causing reward mail for Assemble Event II to incorrectly display the event name as “Assemble Event I.” While cosmetic in nature, the error has already been acknowledged by the development team.

A more significant issue affects Harris’s Transcendent Module, “Focused Supervision.” Nexon confirmed that the maximum damage multiplier for the Firearm Additional Damage applied to the “Designate Danger Zone” skill is not functioning correctly.

The studio said the problem will be addressed in Patch 1.4.0, adding that the update will also include an increase to Harris’s maximum damage multiplier, improving the Descendant’s overall performance.

Nexon also reiterated several previously reported issues that are still under investigation. The Void Intercept Battle: Extreme – Frost Walker intro cutscene may fail to play before combat begins, though gameplay continues normally afterward.

On PC, crashes continue to affect some systems using Intel 13th- and 14th-generation processors, with players encountering an “Out of video memory” error when launching the game. Nexon noted that adjusting BIOS power limits may partially reduce the issue while the company awaits further guidance from Intel.

The developer also shared temporary workarounds for Bitdefender and McAfee users whose antivirus software incorrectly blocks the game. Additionally, players experiencing Easy Anti-Cheat problems are advised to follow the official troubleshooting guide or contact customer support if the issue persists.
