Before these movies, three seasons were aired: Dark Kingdom from July 2014 to January 2015, Black Moon from February to July 2015, and Death Busters from April to June 2016.
The Sailor Moon saga began as a manga by Naoko Takeuchi, serialized in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine from 1991 to 1997.
Toei Animation brought the manga to life with an anime adaptation that premiered in 1992 and continued until 1997. This franchise has left a significant mark on the anime industry, inspiring generations of fans with its blend of adventure, friendship, and magic.
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie is anticipated to continue the legacy, bringing beloved characters and new stories to the screen, building on the enduring appeal of the Sailor Moon series. Fans eagerly await to see their favorite characters in action once again.
