The Korean manga follows Jae In. She is an ordinary high school student who dreams of becoming a professional makeup artist in the future. One day she happens to find a very pretty lipstick lying around.

So out of curiosity, she picks it up and then finds herself to be a princess named Jane Richard Dautriche in another world. She does not believe it and tries to do everything she can to ensure she can find her way out of this unknown place.

The Empress Lipstick follows Jae In, who is just a school student but has big dreams and hopes to become a professional makeup artist. She happens to find a strange lipstick. She picks up and transports her to a world where she is a crown princess named Jane Richard Dautriche, known for her beauty. She has to find a way back to the real world while she navigates her life in the new world.

The Empress Lipstick Chapter 29 Recap

The model, Sir Edmond, is lounging with a face pack for their skin in the previous chapter, chapter 29, as their work requires them to seem well and presentable. He questions his butler as to why he was not made aware of the concept of the cover picture session in advance, only to hear the devastating news that the crown princess was replaced by another model.

He grows furious and is unable to think why the crown princess was chosen. The butler answers that she is popular among the noble ladies, so that is why she has been chosen for the magazine cover.

Jane Richard Dautriche cannot believe that Sir Edmond has been removed from his position for the first time, and she believes other people deserve this position. But she takes up the offer nonetheless. And she also receives an invitation from a club called Porsha. This is a very influential club that only invites very few people due to its prestigious status in society.

She asks if her other friends can attend, but they say they cannot as they do not have that much influence, so Jane might have to go alone. She asks Fabian, but he refuses. So then she does go there with the Crown Prince, Sir Edmond, and Sir Nicholas, making an entrance.

As soon as Sibela sees the crown prince enter, she asks him to take the center seat. He says he’s come there to talk about something with her. She stumbles and falls on him. That is when Jane enters the room, and the crown prince feels the need to explain what happened. Jane is shocked to witness such a scene as Sibela smirks at her.

In the upcoming chapter, which is chapter 30, we can expect the Crown Prince goes to have a private conversation with Sibela. While the other noble ladies believe Sibela has invited these men, the crown prince makes it clear that she has not.
