The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy is an action fantasy and adventure anime set where humanity was at war with Six Demon Lords more than a thousand years before the story began.

Humanity was almost driven to extinction by these Demon Lords since they were overwhelmingly powerful. However, humanity found its hope in the form of Six Human Heroes, who were born with immense power and courage, enough to go up against the invincible Demon Lords.

One by one, all the Demon Lords fell till only the Undead King, Leonis Death Magnus, remained. Soon after, the Undead King, Leonis Death Magnus, was driven to his death, but he sealed his body and put a resurrection spell on himself before he died.

Leonis swore revenge against humanity and declared that he may be conceding right now. Still, he would come back a thousand years later to conquer humans again since it was a mission given to him by the Goddess of Rebellion. Leonis remained asleep inside, where he had put his seal for the next thousand years.

A millennia passed, and Riselia Ray Crystalia stumbled upon the ruins of Leonis’s mausoleum while she accidentally broke the seal that Leonis put. The Undead King wakes up in the body of a ten-year-old and is rescued by Riselia, who mistakes him for a refugee and survivor of the Void.
