The Demon Prince goes to the Academy Chapter 51 will be releasing this weekend. In the previous chapter, Reinhardt gave a recap of all that happened in the past few months. He was finally able to get back up and even gain his magical abilities and go back to being a messenger.
In the upcoming chapter of the Manhwa will be testing the patience of the Academy students as they do their best to complete the survival mission.
Since Reinhardt was the one who wrote this scene, he was fully aware of how hard it would be to survive in a deserted island, and was already dreading the journey.
Recap
Reinhardt was ranked 734th in the academy and 1st in his royal class. He had been getting straight As in all his private tutoring mid term papers, but in the academy it was different. The Academy prioritized the progress rather than the skill, which helped Reinhardt score good marks.
Him and Ellen were the top students but because Ellen had made a mistake in the paper, he ended up at first place which caused commotion all around as Reinhardt wasn’t exactly known for his intelligence. However, he wasn’t able to make it into the Top 10 in the midterm exam.
It was now May, and Reinhardt had gotten closer with the people around him. He would tease Harriet about her father, and realized Bertus wasn’t just a trouble maker but was secretly good at martial arts and literature to his surprise.
Reinhardt had also awakened his magical sensitivity which he found out during a physical scan which drew him more attention from the others. He went to visit Ellery after the restirctions had been lifted to find out that the search for the princess was over.
Ellery was taking care of the situation and Reinhardt went back to being a messenger. He found out that Airi left to Port City and Charlotte was waiting for his return after receiving the letter. Back to the present, Reinhardt is on the ground tired unable to attack Ellen during their practice.
He got curious as to why Ellen was helping him out so much and she simply tells him they’re at different levels suggesting she was much better than him. Although him and Ellen were growing and evolving together, the rate of their growth wasn’t the same. Ellen’s was more consistent than Reinhardt’s.
For him, Ellen was someone who was hard to surpass. He realized during the last swordsmanship evaluation that he was much slower and clumsy compared to the rest. But now he was improving much more and his abilites increased at least twice as much.
Reinhardt’s practice sessions with Ellen helped him to grow more and defeat the others more easily than he had expected. He asks Ellen if he can improve his skills if he took swordsmanship seriously, and he tells him to get up and continue with the training.
Reinhardt meets up with his senior who suggest they go on their first mission now that he was back. Since it was a survival mission, Reinhardt would do better than the nobles as they would often give up. but because he grew up in a village, she expected Reinhard to have more persistence.
The principal of the Academy wasn’t disclosing where the mission would be, but since Reinhardt had himself written the story, he knew exactly where they would be going. The first survival mission was on a deserted tropical island forcing the students to survive their way through.
