The Demon Hunter Episode 3: Recap
Meng Chuan discusses his progress and secret technique with the old man, and then they both start drinking together. They both continue drinking overnight and become drunk, so Meng Chuan decides to stop and get going with his practice.
He asks the old man if there’s anyone who figured out the secret technique before him; the old man laughs and says that Meng Chuan is second in line because he was a month slower than the guy in Yunyang palace.
Meng Chuan says that at least he has room for improvement and starts walking away, but the old man stops him and asks him if he came up with a name for his trick.
Meng Chuan stops and thinks for a bit and then replies, “Three autumn leaves”. Meanwhile, Yun Wanhai makes a prophecy that the mad woman of the Meng Family, Meng Xianhua, is going to die. The Yen family gets nervous as to what might happen next, while Bai San Ye gets overjoyed and decides to attack the town.
He takes over the restaurant of Uncle Qian and eats the food there for free. San Ye commends the food at the restaurant as it reminds him of his mother and asks Qian if he would be willing to sell the restaurant.
Qian apologizes to San Ye and tells him that he cannot sell the restaurant. San Ye gets mad and says that he will give so much to Qian, then why does he want to keep such a small restaurant? Suddenly Meng Chuan and July arrive at the restaurant and beat up the guard outside.
He asks Uncle Qian about the “pig” in the restaurant, and July also says the same. Qian gets scared and tells Meng Chuan that this person is not a pig, but it’s Mr. Bai.
San Ye gets angry and throws all the plates away. He then orders Bai Wei to attack Meng Chuan. Meng Chuan accepts the challenge, and they both engage in a battle. Meanwhile, Bai laughs and calls Meng Chuan a blunt knife.
Meng Chuan recognizes Bai Wei as one of the five guards of the white house having Double Knife Rakshasas and the unique skill Rakshasa Eight laws. Bai Wei and Meng Chuan go toe to toe in battle, which makes Bai San Ye angry, and so he orders Bai Wei to finish Meng Chuan soon.
Bai Wei activates the unique skill Rakshasa eight laws and attacks Meng Chuan. Meng Chuan dodges the attack and realizes that this technique is not a cheat or a secret technique, but it’s a good technique that is even stronger. The fight drags on, and so Meng Chuan decides to use his cheat and end the battle with one strike.
Meng Chuan places his sword on Bai San Ye’s neck and makes him growl, but suddenly someone from the fire palace comes to take Meng Chuan.
In the fire hall, Patriarch Mon and Patriarch Yun wait for the marriage certificate to arrive. Yun says that he can’t go much longer with the Meng family. Meanwhile, Meng Chuan wonders why he has been called to the fire hall, and he soon arrives there.
The person with him hands over the marriage certificate of Meng Xianhua, but Meng Chuan takes them from him and tears it. Yun exclaims that Xianhua will die as prophesied and starts walking away, but Xianhua arrives at the hall and slaps him unconscious.
