In the previous chapter of The Dark Mage’s Return to Enlistment, we see Son Eunseo peacefully resting at her house and texting her mom. It is the usual family banter, and there’s nothing noticeable about it except for the fact that her parents are out for a late-night movie date.
Everything is fine when Eunseo hears someone, and she realizes that there is an intruder. She comes down, and lo and behold, the intruder is no one other than Minjun himself. However, Minjun doesn’t really face her, and his face is covered, so Eunseo doesn’t realize that the intruder is him.
She doesn’t really believe that it is a normal robber and begins attacking him. Minjun, of course, avoids all her attacks flawlessly, which probably irks Eunseo even more. She keeps trying to land an attack, but Minjun keeps avoiding it.
Minjun had come to take the monster crystal, which was giving off dark energy. He manages to succeed and runs away before the confrontation drags on.
