Almost all of the components that make competition reality television shows exciting, entertaining, and thrilling are included in The Challenge’s one-hour format. Now, as the show slowly concludes its sophomore run, let’s take a look at what went down with the contestants in this episode.
The Challenge: USA Season 2 Episode 7 Recap
A romance between two former “Big Brother” contestants blossoms in the most recent episode of “The Challenge: USA,” and host TJ Lavin makes a momentous announcement that changes the course of the season. Competing for a $250,000 prize are a mix of “The Challenge” veterans and popular CBS reality stars on the show.
Prior to that, there were a lot of conflicting rookie players, which resulted in the Blue Team winning a trivia contest. Wes and Tiffany were elected to enter the arena. Wes triumphed, eliminating former “Amazing Race” contestant Dusty Harris. Wes then changed sides and joined the Blue Team.
Wes requests a fair chance in the game upon his return, but his requests are met with skepticism. In the meantime, former “Big Brother” contestants Tyler and Alyssa ignite a developing romance. Michaela’s spotlight suggests that there might be a fight in the arena.
The Blue Team wins the “Wreck & Roll” challenge, dominating and gaining an advantage. Josh intends to put women up against one another by picking Chanelle and Michaela to go home. Tiffany, who feels like a weak link, gets some encouragement from her allies.
Tyler and Michaela are put forward for eviction during the discussion. Josh is questioned by Michaela regarding his role in the scheme. Chanelle is informed by Desi about the Blue Team’s covert alliances.
Bananas and Wes play matchmakers for Tyler and Alyssa on a night out, which results in a passionate kiss. Votes cast anonymously are collected at the end of the episode. Tiffany and Michaela are competitors in the “Top Heavy” elimination challenge, as seen from the arena.
In “Top Heavy,” competitors must maintain their balance while retrieving balls and making baskets. Tiffany is defeated by Michaela after she dominates, winning 10-1. TJ declares that the game has changed to an individual format, leaving competitors on their own.
Alliances are clearly forming and shifting quickly as the episode comes to a close, paving the way for more drama and fierce competition in “The Challenge: USA.”
