The series- The Boys follows the titular vigilante team as they battle superpowered individuals who misuse their powers. The Boys is an Amazon Prime superhero TV series that is currently streaming. It is created by Eric Kripke. Adapted from the same-named comic series by Darick Robertson and Garth Ennis that was first released by DC Comics under its Wild storm label before transferring to Dynamite Entertainment.
On July 26, 2019, the series’ first season premiered. The script, narrative, comedy, and performances of the ensemble, have all earned critical acclaim, notably Urban and Starr. The creators renewed The Boys for a 2nd season later after the success of its launching season which aired on September 4, 2020. The series is said to be coming for a season 3. A third season has been commissioned, along with a spin-off series.
The series stars Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Tomer Capon, Laz Alonso, and Karen Fukuhara as the protagonist vigilantes, as well as Dominique McElligott, Erin Moriarty, Nathan Mitchell, Antony Starr, Jessie T. News regarding season 3 of The boys has not yet officially circulated but it is so far confirmed that S3 is in production. Word spread that the confirmation of season 3 is through Vought broadcast bulletins which are left as hints for another instalment of the series all the while when we wait for the upcoming season. Season 3 of The Boys has started filming. Back in February, creator Eric Kripke and star Karl Urban tweeted photographs of themselves on their trip to filming in Toronto. The released date is not yet announced but based on the calculations of the previous two season releases it should most probably hit the screens in late 2021.
