The chapter starts with Nox entering the missing child forest. Missing Child’s forest was within Reinhafer’s territory. In a forest where entry got prohibited because of the darkness and fog, no matter how skilled a ranger or pathfinder was, they would still have trouble finding their way around. Just like its name suggested, the place that would cause everyone to get lost like a child. But there was also a different meaning.
