The Ten Pound Poms Episode 3 release date is very near, and it is making the fans excited. The series throws light on a period drama where a lot of British families decided to relocate to Australia in hopes of a better future. As we saw in the first episode, the whole thing was not happening at all because everything in this new land was miserable, and they were not even treated properly.
Back in Ten Pound Poms Episode 2, we saw the story begin with a victim of a hit and run. This was a very desperate situation as the man was trying to get some help for the lad. Elsewhere, Robbie is with Kate and asks her about her activities when she is found inside the port office. It turns out that it was Kate who was behind the whole incident. She confesses to Robbie about her involvement because she needs the information.
Thus, in order to deal with the intruder, he asks for security. Although, this could prove really bad for Kate, and she might even be deported back to the United Kingdom if things go out of hand. Thus, she pleads with him, and he lets her go. She specified that she was looking for some intel on a family member but was not able to find any at all.
Ten Pound Poms Episode 2 Recap
Robbie is obviously not in a trusting position right now, and he yells at her to get the file. As she does, the documents belong to Michael, who is Kate’s son. Robbie is angry at her and again shouts, saying she is never going to find her and that he does not like to be used in such a way.
As Kate gets back and is comfortable, she thinks about the time that Michael had left. It was told to her that he was being taken to Australia as a posting. Coming to Terry, we see that he saw the whole accident take place in the first scene of the episode. He is unable to get the entire image out of his eyes and is constantly thinking about the lad. Later, Annie tells Terry that he got home late last night. Although, the man is in terrible mental health condition and says that he was just trying to be the boy who got hit.
It turns out that the car was being driven by Dean. He tells Annie about how much of a maniac he is but does not mention the whole accident to her. It is obvious that he refuses to let this opportunity go and wants to make the best of Australia as much as they can. Later, he catches up with JJ Walker because he wants his van to borrow. Terry tells him that he is not supposed to be drinking but actually got drunk the night before.
As he gives Tery the keys, the man tries to find out the exact location where the boy was hit. As he goes near a church, people start hitting him with various stuff and tell him to leave. Later in the episode, Matia is having a lot of trouble with termites in her apartment. She is skeptical that JJ gave all the good beds to the English and the bad ones to the Italians.
