What looked like a love triangle with unrequited love for Natsuya has turned things in her favor thanks to none other than Otaku Kun. Truth be told Otaku Kun always looked like someone who wasn’t too interested in a romantic relationship since chapter one of the series. He did, however, possess an awareness of what went on around him, which led to him doing the only thing he could do and supporting Natsuya.
The last few chapters have been about Natsuya and Rei, with Otaku Kun making a presence for a short while. This gave the much-needed time Natsuya to grow closer to Rei, but given how indecisive Natsuya she didn’t make many advances against Rei. An opportunity did present itself when Rei was scolded for using her phone during the lecture, and their teacher caught her. Natsuya believed that Rei was in the wrong but wanted to console her but couldn’t find the right words to express herself.
It would have ended with Rei feeling bummed over her parents coming over, but Otaku Kun intervened from behind and hit Rei with a snowball. He did so while making sure he wasn’t seen, and this led Rei to believe Natsuya was the one who was toying with her. This helped Rei calm down and even brought the two together.

Temptation of Shiro Gal And Kuro Gal is a gag manga that follows the daily life of three people. Rei, Natsuya, and Otaku kun (that’s the male character’s literal name) in their days in high school. Otaku Kun is a stoic man that likes to live his life ideally and spend his days in peace. But, two gals come over to him every day and a bit of spice to his life. They do varied things and hang out whenever the opportunity presents itself. The two gals are trying to make a pass at Otaku kun to get his attention and do things that he asks them to do.
However, the truth is the story is a love triangle where Natsuya(Kuro Gal) loves Rei (Shiro Gal), while Rei has a hots for Otaku Kun. Natsuya stays together with Rei not to lose her, and every time she thinks Rei is leaving her for Otaku Kuan, Rei comes back to her. It is a sweet gag manga with four to five pages in every chapter. Although there is nothing too serious going on between the characters, and for the most part, Otaku Kun doesn’t even care for the attention they give him.
