Tell Me Lies is an American drama series based on a novel by Carola Lovering. Meaghan Oppenheimer creates the 2022 series. The show first premiered on 7th September on Hulu. However, viewers can stream this show on Disney+ Hotstar as well. Tell Me Lies follows the intoxicating relationship of Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco. They both meet at college, and their relationship unfolds over the course of eight years. They make mundane choices that lead to irrevocable consequences. Their relationship begins like any typical romance until they lose themselves in an addictive entanglement. This will affect not only their own lives but even those around them.
This new romantic drama series will feature ten episodes, with new episodes airing every Wednesday. Tell Me Lies premiered on the 27th September, and the tenth and final episode of the show will be released on 26th October. The episodes run from forty-five minutes to fifty-three minutes. The main cast of Tell Me Lies are Grace Van Patten as Lucy Albright and Jackson White as Stephen DeMarco. Catherine Missal, Sonia Mena, Spencer House, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder, and Benjamin Wadsworth are also a part of the main cast. Edmund Donovan, Natalee Linez, Gabriella Passion, and Tyriq Withers also have recurring roles on Tell Me Lies.

Tell Me Lies Filming Location
The show, Tell Me Lies was filmed in Georgia’s Atlanta Metropolitan Area. Baird College, a fictional college, is one of the main settings of the first season. The college campus scenes seen on the show were filmed at Agnes Scott College. Agnes Scott is a private women’s liberal arts college, and the campus area of this institution is said to be over 100 acres. Although Baird is a fictional college in the show’s context, there was a Baird College in Clinton, Missouri. The college opened in 1885 and operated for around a decade but later had to be closed. Baird in Clinton was an all-female college, just like Agnes Scott College.
In the show, Agnes Scott has been fashioned into a co-ed institution to fit the show’s requirements. Another location where Tell Me Lies was shot is situated in DeKalb County. Decatur is widely known for its rich history and is a renowned educational hub in Georgia. The place is famous for its restaurants, breweries, and distilleries.

From the first episode of TML, it’s’ obvious that Stephen isn’t a good guy. We see Lucy starting her freshmen year at Baird College. During Welcome Week, things take an unexpected turn, flipping her life upside down. Later, she struggles to deal with the aftermath of what happened. For some reason, she also agrees to go on a date with Stephen. Stephen is the bad guy who will put all the previous bad guys we saw on television or read about in books to shame.
Sometimes we fall for the bad guy; perhaps it’s’ the hope, the idea of their redemption, or whatever it is we see in them. But Stephen isn’t’ a guy like that. He manipulates people, and he enjoys doing so. In the third episode, they both discuss exclusivity, but we all know how that conversation ends. Stephen goes to NYC and Lucy, on the other hand, spends her time worrying about where their relationship stands.
Soon, it’s Christmas time, and they both leave for home for their winter break. Lucy uncovers a secret that might shake things up for her again. Later, she confronts Stephen about whatever she uncovered at Macy’s memorial. She tries to find out if he knows about it or not. After that confrontation, the whole group goes to Evan’s lake house. It’s’ his 21st birthday, and they all are celebrating it together. In the upcoming episode, Lucy decides to protect Stephen, whereas Pippa feels strange after Wrigley meets her dad.
