A YouTube channel called WhiskyAI has shared a short, roughly 90-second clip that envisions a “Harry Poter”-themed telenovela, and in the background, while well-dressed, or sometimes provocatively portrayed, versions of the iconic characters make appearances.
Many of them deliver one-liners that wouldn’t fit the original film series but add a comedic touch to the exaggerated new format.
The storyline takes some liberties, as it seems that Hagrid (played by Robbie Coltrane) may have done away with Dursley to enable young Harry’s journey to Hogwarts. Moreover, there’s no recollection of an affair between Professor McGonagall and Harry or a feud between Cho Chang and Ginny Weasley (played by Bonnie Wright).
