2nd Girls und Panzer das Finale has finally revealed when the film for the anime will be released. The official Twitter account for the film series revealed that the movie is going to be released soon. The film will open in Japan on June 15, 2019. A new key visual has also been released. Adding to this, a second promo has also been streamed.

The first Girls und Panzer das Finale film opened in Japan in December 2017. The film features new characters from BC Freedom High School. The project also has 4DX and MX4D screenings. The screenings will take place after second episode will end its initial run of regular screenings.

The immersive screenings will put together the two episodes. The first screening will have the first and second episodes. The next screening will combine the third and fourth episodes and finally the last screening will have the combination of the fifth and sixth episodes.

The opening theme song, “Grand symphony”, will be performed by Sayaka Sasaki. The theme will be used for the first three episodes. Meanwhile, ChouCho will perform the opening for the final three episodes. ChouCho has also perfoemed the opening theme song for the T.V anime and the 2015 film.
