Teaching The Tyrant Manners Chapter 5 Recap

In chapter five of “Teaching The Tyrant Manners,” Rivi, Lady of Blanche, makes an elegant entrance, catching the attention of everyone in the room. Nearby, Croft, a character with a tough reputation, wipes sweat from his forehead and seems ready for action, reaching for his sword subtly.

This entrance is interrupted by the arrival of Melic, who is seeing Lady Rivi for the first time. He yells in awe, asking Blake if she is the Lady of Blanche. Despite Blake’s urgent pleas to stop Melic, he approaches Rivi directly, even though Blake advises him not to refer to a lady as “that.” The beauty and poise of Rivi amaze Melic.

She became hostile and started walking away from him. Croft knew he had to deal with this situation, but he didn’t know what to do. Rivi slid and lost her balance when Croft reached out to stop her from leaving. Rivi strikes Croft’s arm and kicks him in the thigh with his pointed shoes as he is being hoisted up. Rivi criticizes Croft’s apparent insensitivity to his kicking as the chapter comes to a close.
