For game day, Taylor Swift is back in action! The Midnights singer traveled to Kansas City to cheer on Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as his club met the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium right after celebrating the premiere of her most recent concert video in Los Angeles.
Swift wore a black tank top with a zipper accent and sturdy, lace-up ankle boots with her black leather miniskirt. Her roomy red, white, and black windbreaker jacket with the Chiefs insignia was the outstanding element in her attire, though.
She carried it off her shoulders in style. Swift wore her trademark red lipstick and had her hair pulled up in a playful ponytail. She wore a simple gold chainlink necklace and modest earrings to convey a sense of elegance.
Taylor Swift attended the game when her concert movie, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” was showing in cinemas across North America. Travis Kelce was not present when she recently went to the Los Angeles premiere of the movie.
Kelce’s pre-game remarks
In a pre-game interview that was available on Prime Video, Kelce underlined how much he loves and appreciates the “chaos” in his life. He spoke about his ability to keep his personal affairs separate from his performance on the field, saying that you need to be able to focus entirely on your work when you take the field.
Swift came to Kelce’s game for the third time in just two and a half weeks to show her support for the two-time Super Bowl victor. (She skipped the team’s game in Minnesota on October 8).
On September 24, Taylor Swift made a surprise cameo at the Chiefs vs. Bears game at Arrowhead Stadium. While there, she made friends with Donna Kelce. Just one week later, on October 1, she was observed watching the Chiefs vs. Jets game from a suite at East Rutherford, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.
Swift was observed holding Donna, who is 70 years old, throughout the game. Swift was joined for this game by a number of her longstanding pals, including Sophie Turner, Blake Lively, Robyn Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Sabrina Carpenter, and Antoni Porowski.
After having dinner with Taylor Swift the previous evening, Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, watched the game from a suite alongside her.
Kelce shared his loved ones are charmed by Swift
In a recent release of Travis Kelce’s podcast, “New Heights with Jason,” 34-year-old Kelce talked about how his loved ones were won over by Taylor Swift after meeting her at the game on September 24 in a segment presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment.
Everyone in the suite, including her friends and relatives, talked highly of her, and he stated that they all had good things to say about her. It appears that, at the time, their relationship was still in its infancy and wasn’t viewed as particularly serious.
When asked about the recent interest in his connection with Taylor Swift during a press conference on October 6, Kelce gave a meaningful response. He voiced his joy with the three straight victories for the Kansas City Chiefs and his intent on attempting to make it four against the Minnesota Vikings.
After winning the Super Bowl, Kelce said he felt like he was already on top of the world, but now he feels even more so. Kelce also acknowledged the heightened attention.
Kelce said that he’s “learning” how to deal with circumstances when photographers are shooting pictures from different angles, including outside his home in Kansas City, when asked how he’s coping with the heightened public attention, particularly over his suspected relationship with Taylor Swift.
He noted that dating someone like Taylor Swift, who is popular and well-liked for good reasons, entails receiving much recognition and attention.
