Although, we clearly could see how she was feeling at the moment, and it must have been terrifying for her to lose a child.

Things did not take much time to turn out when Darlene came into the picture and said that Harris must be relieved because the situation worked out right how she wanted it to. Although, this triggered her, and she became angry, saying that Darlene would obviously say that because she never wanted Harris to have a baby in the first place.
After the response, the whole family was also processing the loss of their unborn family member, and Darlene talked to her daughter, saying that she would never want to see her in such a place at all. She is obviously in a bad place right now because even though she did not plan on having a child, this unexpected blessing to her was great, and she grew attached to the baby.
The idea was very wholesome, and she was looking forward to a great future ahead for both of them. We saw Darlene and Harris have a great mother-daughter moment right after this when Harris claimed that she felt guilty for not taking care of the baby enough. But Darlene cut her off and said that this feeling is going to make her a great mom in the future when she was ready.
