Plot
In “Naked and Afraid,” partners strip down to survive in the wild for 21 days. Equipped with a diary-cam, a map, and one chosen survival item, they face the elements together. The participants wear mics and are closely monitored by a non-intervening camera crew. Their survival skills are gauged with a Primitive Survival Rating. If they last the 21 days, they are extracted by a vehicle. Throughout the show, statistics keep viewers informed of the participants’ progress.
