We will see Jin prepare for his revenge against Joshua as he finally eliminates one of his targets, Keydart Hall. The fantasy series protagonist was able to achieve this thanks to the feud between Hyster and Zipple. Moreover, the series also did a good deal of exposition while keeping it entertaining, but will that hold in Swordmaster’s Youngest Son Chapter 101?
Hughwell Hyster was the persona that had shown up at the very end of the last chapter. We hadn’t heard of this personage before, but given his presence and Keydart’s reaction, it was clear that he was someone important. However, it was Keydart who held him as important, so there was going to be a catch with him.
Moreover, it also indicated that the chapter after it wouldn’t focus on the Protagonist for any part, making things interesting. However, as the chapter went on, it became clear that Hughwell was hiding something sinister. But his opponent was Kydart, the man who had betrayed Jin in the past timeline. Will he be able to do anything against one of the betrayers?
Spoilers
Swordmaster’s Youngest Son Chapter 101 will be back after a short break as the first season just concluded. This is one of the few action manhwa whose first season is of 100 chapters. Usually, manhwa has a first season of around 50 to 70 episodes. And after they are done with the season, the manhwa goes for somewhere around a break of 2 months to a year.
The length of the break also depends on the health of the artist and how they fare. The Beginning After the End still hadn’t resumed due to the declining health of the author in the last days of publication. That, along with the popularity of the series, is too high, so the quality is one of the major concerns of the series.
But we digress. We will see Jin return anew in the next season of the manhwa. There should be some new faces joining the series, too, down the line, along with new developments in the story. Then there is also the revenge of Jin against Joshua who will be on his toes. However, it remains to be seen how he will react to the new
Recap
Swordmaster’s Youngest Son Chapter 100 started with a member of the Hyster family meeting Keydart. Keydart was shocked to learn that a member of the now extinguished family still lives despite their massacre ages ago by Zipples. The man introduced himself as Hughwell Hyster and told his life story, making it clear he wasn’t some random nobody.
Hughwell told how he wasn’t able to wield a sword at a young age and how it was different from magic. And his experience years later as he had to make sure that his abilities were not known to the world. Cause if anyone were to learn of his skill and connect the dots, the Zipples would be at his doorstep.
Keydart offered Hughwell that he be his disciple and become proficient in the magic that he teaches. Hughwell was onboard the moment he learned the identity of the old mage that had many secrets under his belt. However, it is Keydart who gains from this, and he wants to make use of Hyster’s lineage for his benefit.
