In the previous chapter of Swordmaster’s Youngest Son, Jin goes to find his sister who looks really distressed and emotionally charged because of what went down with her nanny. He asks if she is fine and his sister actually thanks him for his intervention and calming her emotions down.
Jin mentions that Joshua was looking for an opportunity to detain her and her mental breakdown would have become a perfect justification. That is when his sister mentions the so called Black Knights, a force that is supposed to only listen to the patriarch. How did Joshua get his hands on the elite force?
His sister was very emotional about her nanny because she was someone close to her since she was a kid. Jin’s sister was a sworn protector of her siblings.
She didn’t want anyone to die because of succession wars but she had finally given up. Now, she swore her loyalty to only Jin and he also made a vow back to protect her from any harm.
Later on, Jin’s subordinates were really mad because of Joshua’s cruel antics. He had dared to feed his sister’s nanny a vicious poison and used her badly. They were also confused about why he was doing things the way he was doing. Jin realized that Joshua was probably after Solderet’s contract and wanted to steal it.
He couldn’t use Zipfel so there was probably some other method in his pocket. Jin receives information about the mage Amel and his whereabouts. He tells his subordinates not to look for him for about three months before the scene cuts to Amel and a weird guy approaching him.
