The Japanese anime series Sword Art Online: Alicization War of Underworld is going to get available for fans in dub. The series released its very first episode of season one back in 2012 and, till then, has remained one of the well-known anime series. The series is said to be adapted from a light novel series that was written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by artist Abec. The anime series gain massive attention, and it continued to renew with more seasons. Every time a new episode or season comes out, viewers always give it the attention it deserves. The same is going to happen with the newly released dubbed anime of the latest and third season of the series.
The anime series Sword Fight Online was produced by A-1 Pictures and was directed by Tomohiko. Since the light novel consists of 26 volumes, the series is divided into the “Aincrad” and “Fairy Dance arcs” that are inspired by the first two volumes of it. The rest of the plot is picked from volume 8 and some from the 3rd and 4th volumes of the original light novel. As for the season that is going to get a dubbed version, season 3 adapts the “Alicization” arc. This part is adapted from the 9th volume, and its 2nd part is titled Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld. Although the series is officially licensed to Aniplex, will the streaming channel by providing the fans with the dub service of this anime?

About Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld
Part two of Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld Season 3 is adapted from the fifteenth volume of the light novel. The whole Alicization arc is divided into 4 parts, each part going for a consecutive volume from the light novel. “War of Underworld” has initially scheduled to release on 26th April 2020. However, due to the breakdown of the COVID-19 Pandemic, it got delayed and released on 12th July 2020. This part of the anime began with the 25th episode from season 3, the episode titled “In the Far North”. This episode began after the few months of the fall of the Administrator. We also get to see a catatonic Kirito as, after the first season, the energy surge from the ocean Turtle inflicted great damage to Kirito’s Fluctlight. Now he hardly reacts to any outside stimuli.
Meanwhile, considering the safety and life of Kirito, Alice took him back to the safety of the Rulid Village. The initial scenes from the War of Underworld depicted how Alice was settled outside the Rulid Village as she regularly takes care of Kirito. She can’t move into civilizations due to her being a wanted criminal. However, this fact didn’t prevent Selka from visiting her every now and then. Alice has completely devoted herself to looking after Kirito and even lost the will to fight anymore. But the series can’t go like this as the action comes back to her life after the Dark God Vecta was resurrected.
Sword Art Online: Alicization War of Underworld Dub release
The third season of the anime is the most anticipated season from the whole series. The whole Alicization arc from the light novel took two years to end and more years to get its dubbed version. But we will like to disclose the fact that the leading anime streaming website Funimation has made an announcement that will be interesting to many fans who have their eyes for the dubbed version. Early on 4th February 2022, the streaming website announced that the Sword Arc Online: Alicization – War of Underworld’s 23 episodes dubbed version will be available to stream on the website. Starting from 6th February 2022, Sunday, all the subscribers of the platform can avail of this service.
This dub version will be coming back while maintaining the originality as it is dubbed by the previous cast from the first half of the season. Now the fans can successfully bring the anime’s run to an end soon and will finally get over with the complete Alicization Arc. The series is already running in a variety of languages that includes Mexican, French, German, Russian, Korean, and now we got the English version.
