We finally got to see Seon Jae and Yoo Saul meeting once again, Chapter 107 was full of emotional rollercoaster. Seeing Saul disappear left every fan of Surely a Happy Ending crying. Yeon also got her voice back from Saul, and we got to know the sad past of Ok Seung Hye, of how she lost her child 20 years ago.
Surely a Happy Ending manga seems to be coming to its final stage. I lost interest in the story after chapter 85, the story started well, but after many chapters, the story got kind of repetitive and predictive. Now I just hope they don’t ruin it further. After reading Chapter 107, I’m excited to see where the story will go from here.
Surely a Happy Ending Chapter 107 Recap
The story of chapter 107 continues from where it left in chapter 106, with Seon Jae hugging Yoo Saul as he starts disappearing. Seeing his friend back, Seon couldn’t stop him from crying. He asked Saul why he didn’t come before to meet him, Saul replied if he had come before, then he would have followed him.
As Saul was disappearing, he told Seon a secret; he told him there were some people near their death, and they would be able to go back to the past, to the moment they wanted to relive. He said he chose to go back to the past to find his sister.
Saul encouraged Seon and told him to move on and live a life full of happiness. Saul asked Seon to raise his hand, so he gave him the voice of Yeon Woo; he told him to give it to his wife so she could regain her voice and speak again. Saul disappeared in thin air after telling Seon to live happily. On the next page, we saw Yeon Woo in a hospital with her mother. Yeon then asked her mother about miscarrying of Seung Hye.
She told her that 20 years from now, when Yeon was five years old, Sang Hee got a fever, so she took her to the hospital. This left only Ok Seung Hye and Yeon alone at home. It was the day of her delivery; the baby couldn’t make it because they arrived too late at the hospital. Hearing this made Yeon emotional, even though Ok Seung Hye used to hit her when she was five.
Seon rushed to the hospital after meeting with Saul. He put his hand on Yeon’s hand so he could give back her voice back which Saul gave him. Seeing this made Yeon tickled because she got her voice back when Seon entered the room. Seon hugged her as she started talking again. The chapter ended with Saul watching this whole situation from above.
