There are a lot of shakeups in Superman & Lois’s plot this season, for one part, we’ve always known the Man of Steel can overcome almost every kind of physical pain inflicted upon him, but how is Clark Kent aka Superman dealing with Lois’s cancer situation? While Clark is supportive of Lois, there’s a loose end on her half, as a new friendship puts Lois in danger without her realizing it.
We know he has a soft spot for Lois, and seeing her deal with cancer is quite a new experience for this man that can allegedly take it all. Now, as for the antagonists and the plot, we found out that Peia was —predictably— Onomatopeia, the one who killed George Dean. We also know that Peia knows that Lois Lane is Superman’s significant other, so we’re about to see how that plays out now that she managed to become friends with Lois.
Superman & Lois Season 3 Episode 6 Recap
We begin our episode with Clark joining a cancer support group and learning how others are coping with the same thing as he is. It’s evident this situation is freaking out our man of steel, who can put up with everything physically, but emotionally, not so much. As for character development, Clark doesn’t like the first meeting but does attend another one with a better rapport on his behalf.
We move on to Jonathan and Jordan. Jon has his debut at the fire station and tries out the firefighter clothes that Kyle loaned him. And we learn that these clothes belong to a man that died wearing them and as a hazing, Jonathan must scrub the fire engine clean. Moving to Jordan, he’s training and doing really well at the fortress and feels like he’s ready to go, but that’s not Clark’s appreciation of the situation after a laser sparring session.
Peia
As stated at the beginning, we found out that Peia is Onomatopeia and she’s dangerously close to Lois. A trap with kryptonite lasers debilitates Clark, so Jordan comes in to assist him proving he’s ready for real action combat. Then, we see that Peia and Lois have a meal at a bistro and talk about Bruno Mannheim and how Clark doesn’t want to entertain the possibility of Lois dying from her disease. The rest of the episode concludes with some breadcrumbs for the next installment.
