Suicide Squad Isekai is now ready for its much awaited premiere. Warner Bros. Japan announced today that the new DC Comics anime will debut on June 27, streaming on both Hulu and Max in the United States.
For viewers in Japan, the series will make its cable debut on July 5, marking a rare streaming-first launch. The first three episodes of Suicide Squad Isekai will be available on Max and Hulu from June 27, with subsequent episodes released weekly. The series will consist of ten episodes in total.
Internationally, Suicide Squad Isekai will be distributed by various global platforms. ANIPLUS and LAFTEL will stream the series in South Korea, ADN in France, and HBO GO in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
Produced by Wit Studio, Suicide Squad Isekai brings a fresh anime take on the DC Universe, featuring a beloved team of anti-heroes in a classic isekai tropes. Eri Osada is directing the series and co-wrote the scripts with Tappei Nagatsuki.
