The third season of One Punch Man has introduced a new character visually, highlighting Tatsumaki, also known as “Terrible Tornado,” a formidable S-Rank Hero ranked 2.
This reveal follows previous character visuals of Saitama, King, Genos, and Tatsumaki’s sister, Fubuki. The latest artwork, crafted by character designer Shinjiro Kuroda, showcases the high quality fans have come to expect.
The animation for the upcoming season is being handled by Studio J.C. Staff, with Tomohiro Suzuki in charge of series composition, and Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda, and Ryosuke Shirakawa responsible for character design.
Makoto Miyazaki is composing the music, ensuring a stellar production team. One Punch Man, originally created by ONE, began as a webcomic in 2009.
The series gained significant attention, leading to a digital manga remake with illustrations by Yusuke Murata, which started publishing on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website in June 2012.
Viz Media picked up the English language rights and serialized the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump. The first anime adaptation was produced by Madhouse and aired from October to December 2015.
The second season saw a change in production to J.C. Staff, airing from April to July 2019. The third season, announced last August, has been highly anticipated by fans who eagerly await its release.
In Europe, Crunchyroll streams the One Punch Man anime and provides a summary of the plot. The story follows Saitama, a hero who started his journey for fun and became incredibly powerful after three years of rigorous training, gaining the ability to defeat any opponent with a single punch.
With his cyborg disciple Genos, Saitama goes on his official duties as a professional hero affiliated with the Hero Association.
As monster attacks become more frequent, it seems that the prophecy of Earth’s doom by the Great Seer Madame Shibabawa is coming true.
Adding to the turmoil, the “hero hunter” Garou appears, escalating the tension and excitement in the story.
