Another complaint has come in against Giovanni by his former partner, Ranvir Singh, who complained about the things regarding the Italian dancer that also justify the clashes Faye Tozer has been facing with him.
There have been certain times when complaints or words of discomfort have come up against him, and celebrities have been witnessed cutting off their ties with him as well. Even last night, TV personality Richie Anderson was noticed unfollowing his former partner on Instagram.
The BBC is not issuing a probe into the troubles caused by Giovanni
Earlier, the former partners of the Italian dancer either complained about him or unfollowed him on Instagram. The ex-Love Island presenter, Laura Whitmore, had also opened up about her working experience with him and said she was “broken” during her time with him.
As per the reports in The Sun, the decision-makers held a secret meeting with Giovanni last year regarding all this, but no action was taken. There’s no action to be taken as “The BBC is standing behind Giovanni and won’t be pursuing an investigation,” according to the sources.
As per the sources, “Some of the professionals and crew feel it needs to be dealt with, and Giovanni shouldn’t come back this year.” In fact, it comes as a shock to some people on the show, as they think there is a need to do something about his behaviors.
Especially Amanda, who had a tough time with him, even though she was not the only one. As per the record in the past, there have also been four of his partners among the openly talked about ones who have mentioned that they were working with him.
As per the sources, Giovanni was spoken to after the moment Sherlock and Mr. Selfridge star Amanda called out for cameras to be present during the rehearsal in the room last year because she was concerned about his attitude. It also says that “Amanda and Ranvir also flagged an issue during training with Giovanni, as she shared, she was unhappy,
Amanda has been demanding footage of the rehearsals after the legal advice, as per the Sunday revelation by The Sun.
It was acclaimed by Giovanni’s partner Laura that her time with him in Strictly had made her tears come out, and on this note, it was also shared that she was replaced by a new dance partner. Her journey with him had made her “extremely uncomfortable” and had left her broken with tears every day.
As per the sources, Amanda is also said to be suffering from PTSD after her appearance on Strictly with Giovanni as her partner.
Even after having the support of the producers over whatever happened recently and standing behind him as a backbone, Giovanni still finds those allegations to be deeply unfair and offensive.
A source in contact with the pro says that “a lot of the negativity seems to be born out of professional jealousy, especially among the other pro dancers because he went on to get his own TV show with Anton Du Beke.”
The Strictly Come Dancing bosses are in a state of fear as they think that the future contestants might refuse to be partnered with Giovanni due to the chaos caused by Giovanni’s row with Amanda prior to the return of the BBC show in September.
A BBC spokesperson has told The Sun that “the BBC offers a comprehensive range of support to all individuals taking part in a show.”
Additionally, Strictly Come Dancing has always been dedicated to taking care of its contestants, and there are constant dealings with the senior members of the production team to make sure that the concerns of the contestants are addressed swiftly.
Meanwhile, the BBC has a probe to make any decisions regarding the issues arising due to Giovanni. Whereas Giovanni has said that he believes he has done nothing wrong; in fact, he simply wants to get the best out of his partners. No further comments from the BBC were made.
