Street Woman Fighter Season 2 had a rousing start and heightened the excitement among the audience for the rest of the season.
Viewers are up for all the drama, evil editing, which Mnet was known for, the cut-throat competition, and impressive performances. The first season was a massive hit. It seems like this season will surpass it in terms of everything as it went beyond by bringing dancers from all over the world.
And if you haven’t tuned into it, this article will be a sign to start it.
Let’s Do A Recap of Episode 1 of Street Woman Fighter Season 2
The first episode was full-on entertaining and dramatic, keeping up the audience’s excitement. The leaders were the first to be introduced, and the lineup was 1 Million’s Lia Kim, JAM Republic’s Kristen, Deep Dap’s Min Myoung, Tsubakill’s Akanen, Manne Queen’s Funky_y, Lady Bounce’s Nob, Wolf’Lo’s Halo, and BEBE’s Bada.
Kang Daniel entered as the show’s host and explained the rules, followed as No Limit, No Respect (given to those who don’t deserve it), and No Mercy (merciless humiliation to the losers).
Each team’s leader gave a brief history about their team and headed to their hideout one by one. Every room had a different color. They were announced to gather at their first fight zone.
Each team watched the evolution video before the conflict began to see what other groups thought of them.
The first team was BEBE, then Lady Bounce, Manne Queen, Tsubakill from Japan, and Deep Dap, followed by 1 Million, Wolf’lo, and JAM Republic. They all were pissed after watching the video and urging to prove themselves.
Many of them had a history, but the ones the most interesting were Lia Kim and Min Myoung. They used to be best friends but parted ways on a bad note. The youngest member of JAM Republic, Audrey, was selected as the weakest amongst them.
The judges were Prowdman’s leader, Monika, the leader & main dancer of Monsta X’s Shownu, and there would be a special judge for each round.
The special judge for this show was the leader of a world-renowned dance crew, the Kinjaz, Mike Song. They shared their criteria for dancers on the basis on which they would judge them.
The 40 seconds would be given for each dancer to dance, and the judges determined the winners. The first round started from the battle between 1 Million’s Redy and BEBE’s baby.
They once used to be close friends, but the end of their friendship didn’t go smoothly. Bada won the battle.
The second battle was between Kristen from JAM Republic and Waackxxxy from Manne Queen. Because of a tie, they did one more match, and Kristen won.
The round continued, and the third battle was between Manne Queen’s Yoonji and JAM Republis’ Kristen. Yoonji wanted to revenge for Waackxxxy, and she won.
The fourth battle was of 1 Million Harimu and Manne Queen’s Redlic. Harimu was the winner. Then, it was Audrey’s turn to have two fights, one with Deep Dap’s Soll and Lady Bounce’s Vessi. She won both and shocked everyone with her dancing as she was picked as the weakest.
Deep Dap had already lost three battles with 1 Million, out of which one was of Gooseul and the other of JJ. Now Kang called upon Lia Kim to choose someone she would like to battle, and she picked Mina Myoung from Deep Dap.

Our Verdict
The first was entertaining, exciting, and dramatic at the same time. The most interesting thing to watch was the history shared by these dancers with each other. You could literally see the tension between Lia Kim and Mina Myoung.
Not only them but even other team dancers knew each other for a long and found it challenging to go against the person they once loved and cared about the most.
Season two has increased their difficulty level as this team of dancers came from Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and China to show off their talents and to compete to win the biggest dancing show in South Korea.
The battles were fierce to the point you could see that fire in dancers’ eyes. They were so ready to tear each other down. Even the judges had difficulty to choose the winner.
The battle between Kristen from JAM Republic and Waackxxxy from Manne Queen was the most memorable in this episode.
Every dancer had their own piece of share in the episode and was equally talented to give you thrills with their performances. And it was just the start of the whole season left to leave you in awe. It will also be frustrating to lose the battle to someone who didn’t expect it.
All the dancers did dirty to Audrey from JAM Republic by considering her the weakest. She nailed it on the stage and danced fearlessly, leaving everyone in marvel and too shocked to speak.
The return of Kang Daniel from season one was all you need to know about. He did so well in that season that the show had to bring him back. The judges were also experienced and professional in the field.
I will give 4.2 out of 5 to the 1st episode of Street Woman Fighter Season 2.
