All Outfit 3 Skins Showcase
The 18 World Warriors with their brand-new Outfit 3 skins and the inspiration behind their designs, as explained in the Developer’s Column, are listed below.
Kimberly’s outfit is based on her spunky and enthusiastic personality, as she thinks her “ninja-like” appearance mixes well with art and all things ’80s, with bright colors and round pants.
Jamie wears beautifully rendered formal Chinese clothes, which shows his upbringing by his grandmother/master as the Peacekeeping Breakdancer and protector of Chinatown.
JP is given an outfit that connects him to the fictional nation of Nayshall as a reference to the storyline, and it gives him a more traditional and mystical look alongside his signature cane.
Chun-Li wears casual clothes with sweatpants inspired by basketball jerseys so she can maintain her elegant movement. Her innerwear combines training attire with a Chinese-influenced jacket.
Ryu’s outfit is inspired by clothes he would wear when he comes to town after rigorous training on the mountain, such as a jacket given by Chun-Li, high-end sandals from E. Honda, jeans that faded from being washed too many times, and a towel around his head for baths.
As a French judoka fighter, ballet dancer, and fashion model, Manon receives a noble outfit inspired by the French Revolution, which adds a cultural flair to her graceful movements.
E. Honda is presented with summer attire for a vacation on a tropical island, inspired by Sumo wrestlers taking vacations during their off-season. He wears a red Hawaiian shirt with an impactful Japanese letter to show his ever-present respect for traditions.
Dhalsim maintains his iconic yoga master look but with a more casual twist for when he is in town “having tea with a friend.” His outfit also shows his love for handmade items that have been gifted to him.
Zangief, who is mostly seen in his wrestling outfit, is shown here with a more intellectual and dignified style of clothing, which he wears for his position as a national Russian hero.
Blanka-chan, the world-famous doll sold by Blanka, takes up the stage in a new outfit, and this iteration is altered to match better with his crazy-haired green skin in Outfit 1.
Ken goes back to his sharp and stylish look as the wealthy Hotel-Business Tycoon and owner of the Master’s Hotel, with an outfit made from “extremely valuable material.”
Lily’s costume is designed as a traditional Mexican outfit that might be worn for a local festival. Inspired by a mariachi costume, details like a large sombrero, bright flower hair ornaments, and red ribbons are used to enhance her cute personality.
Cammy’s outfit takes inspiration from Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, where she uses a red cloak to disguise her identity. Her unique coat is given a more modern and functional twist to help in her secret missions and accessorized with a pendant to remind her of her friends.
Luke is presented in his “more aggressive,” “young and cocky” phase, with stars on his forearms tattooed for every tournament he won and braces on his teeth to show his immature and ferocious boxing style.
Dee Jay is not only a Jamaican kickboxer, but also a world-famous musician and recording artist, and this outfit is designed to show off his playful and artistic skills, which allows him to make any place into a “dance hall.”
Juri is presented in a onesie, which represents her off-duty state, but it also maintains her aggressive and provocative aspects as a Sadistic Thrill-seeker. One unique detail is her devil horn hair, which has become “disheveled from sleeping in this outfit.”
Marisa is shown in her wedding dress, which she might wear one day for Zangief. Her immense strength and charisma are showcased in the outfit through a Roman goddess of war motif, and her hair is tied like a gladiator’s helmet.
Guile is given a retro, everyday look as a bartender in the American countryside when he is off duty, with an airplane logo on his back to remind him of his time in the Air Force.
