WWE fans were thrilled to see “Stone Cold” Steve Austin return to the ring at WrestleMania 38 for a match against Kevin Owens. However, many are wondering if that will be his only comeback match.
While there were talks of Austin participating in some way during WrestleMania 40 weekend, he ultimately didn’t appear.
WWE Legend Content with Retirement
In a recent interview, Austin addressed the possibility of another match. He made it clear that he’s satisfied with his WrestleMania 38 performance and doesn’t feel the need to prove himself further.
“I walked away,” Austin said. “I’m happy with what I did. There are others who wrestled longer or achieved more, but I had a good career, and I’m content with it. I don’t need to prove anything to anyone.”
While fans might miss seeing Stone Cold back in action, it seems he’s happy with his legendary career and has no desire to return to the ring.
