Even though she is delighted to be in the light, she is blaming and is quite frustrated at her crew who are not as excited because of the presence of a journalist. This is why she is so concerned that the Cerritos but mainly she will appear dishonored in the eyes of the entire Starfleet. Well, in order to avoid the humor that would cause her name, when the journalist comes to the Cerritos, Freeman tries to avoid the junior officers and mainly Mariner from visiting her or even coming in front of her eyes.
