Star Struck is a drama adaptation of the web novel Star Struck written by Ha Tae Jin. Park Sun Jae and Kim Hoon Gwang are the directors behind the Bl series. The plot revolves around childhood friends Jo Yoon Jae and Seo Han Joon. They were always together and looked out for each other. Zuho (SF9) and Kim In Sung portray the main characters, Jo Yoo Jae and Seo Han Joon.
Jo Yoo Jae and Seo Han Joon have been friends since childhood and even studied together. They have a dream about attending a good university together. They are close friends who devote time to school and preparing for college entrance. Han Joon started developing feelings for Yoo Jae but was nervous to confront him. They were looking forward to their future lives after leaving school. The adventure follows Jo Yoo Jae and Seo Han Joon as they transition from friends to lovers and pursue their dreams.
Star Struck Episode Recap
Yoo Jae to hiding from Yoon Chae Young and doesn’t want to study in the academy. He rejected her due to the upcoming university entrance exams. Yoo Jae doesn’t appreciate Han Joon’s suggestion that he become friends with her. After studying together in the hot weather, Yoo Jae and Han Joon visit the Manga cafe. They talk about their college life and what they will do, such as dating, drinking, and having fun.
Han Joon feels betrayed after getting the news from other friends, not from his best friend, Yoo Jae himself. He would be the happiest knowing that his friend has no issues financially. Yoo Jae does not like to see Haan Joon feel sad and pity. The incident creates a misunderstanding between them.
Han Joon is moving to a different place as his mother is shifting to another restaurant for the job. The fight between Han Joon and Yoo Jae has spread among the students as school violence. Yoo Jae and Han Joon apologized to each other for the other day. They are back to their old selves again.
When Yoo Jae mentions living together, Han Joon becomes nervous. Yoo Jae explains that he intends to leave after the entrance exam, while Han Joon is looking for housing for university. Living in one house, passing the entrance exam, and enrolling in a reputable university will be fun.
Yoo Jae arrived to accompany Han Joon to school. Yoo Jae is concerned about Han Joon’s health. Han Joon demands the reason, and Yoo Jae responds he is his only best friend. They plan to travel together during the vacation once they get into college. They want to go to Busan in the first year, second year abroad trip. Han Joon is happy to travel anywhere with Yoo Jae. They are nervous about the entrance exam.
The students are done with the entrance exams and relaxed. Yoo Jae visits Han Joon and gets shocked to see him live in a small room. He becomes enraged that Han Joon never mentioned it. Despite not having any money, he brought him an expensive gift. Yoo Jae doesn’t want their friendship to be secretive. Han Joon admits his feelings to Yoo Jae. He did this because he loved him. He wants to date him, but Yoo Jae walks away.
