There will be more progress in the series as new characters are getting introduced in Star-Embracing Swordmaster Chapter 55. The recent arc just concluded and in its conclusion, we got to see Vlad get a new ability that helps in small ways. However, there is a lot more for him to digest as the reality of the recent events comes to light.
After three days of sleep, Vlad wakes up looking like a ghost from the aftermath of the recent expedition. One of the soldiers told Vlad about how lucky he was to be taken out of the place in time. The soldier bids Vlad farewell and the MC sees it as a chance to talk to the sword with no ears around.
The sword had good news for Vlad, they can now talk in their mind, with no need to talk out loud for the MC. Vlad was glad that he didn’t need to look around for people to around to exchange intel with the sword and learn valuable info regarding the situation he found himself in.
Vlad readies himself to go check on the people who had gotten involved in the incident and see how the village was doing. He was surprised that both the villagers and the soldiers were at ease despite the previous incident. However, when Vlad arrives at the place, he is surprised to see the death toll of people who are lying around the place.
