Lawrence pays Nora more than promised, surprising her. He explains that he wants to establish a good partnership for the future. They then part ways. In Ruvinheigen, Lawrence and Holo talk with various personnel about his armor and other matters.

As they interact with more people, Holo notices that the townsfolk don’t like seeing merchants make a lot of money. Lawrence, however, is unfazed, and they head to a place to eat.

Next, they visit Ruvinheigen’s trading house. Holo wipes beer remnants from her face onto Lawrence’s sleeve and asks why she has to accompany him. Lawrence explains that he doesn’t want to leave her alone, and Holo understands.

They then discuss trading houses, with Lawrence revealing he is part of a merchant association from his homeland. Upon arrival, Lawrence suggests Holo wait outside and promises to buy her sweet bread if she agrees. Lawrence enters the trading house and discusses business with the workers inside.

Meanwhile, a man arrives at the Remerio Trading Company asking for Lawrence. The worker there says no one by that name has shown up lately.

Nonetheless, the man insists on delivering an important message from the Latparron Trading Company. The episode ends with Holo watching Lawrence and the trading house worker through a window.
