What happens when you put a bunch of B-list celebrities on a reality physical challenge competition show of endurance? You get Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 2. In this show, these B-listers and ex-athletes face the drill exercises that boot camp armed forces professionals must endure to become the killing fighting machines they need to be when deployed.
With five episodes on, there’s been quite some things to unpack. In this show, there’s no alliances, no plotting nor conniving, participation is voluntary, and if a cast member thinks that doing that rappel jump, or pushing that giant rock uphill, or being neck-deep in freezing mud is too much, they can just call it quits. So, let’s check out the latest episode to see what went down.
Recap
Before breaking down the episode, let’s check out who’s out so far. Firstly, Tara Reid, Dez Bryant, and Blac Chyna ditched the show on episode two. Brian Austin Green, Robert Horry, and Savannah Chrisley called it quits on episode three.
Now, in this episode, episode four titled “Character” we have eight people left. JoJo Siwa is seen early in the morning chopping wood,. Then, there’s some banter in the dorm, and the DS Dorm has a reunion where they decide how to physically test the remaining recruits.
They’re called upon and ride a convoy of SUV’s down a dirt road. Kelly Rizzo is enthusiastic of what’s ahead. They leave the SUVs and are given the instruction to move a 220-pound boat to a lake. The teams are led by the recruits who are Olympic champions. It is quite a test of strength and Bode Miller comments about it in a confessional. The Drill Sergeant grills them as they make them hurl those huge boats over different obstacles like fences, uphill, and the like.
The first team to reach the lake is Team Alpha, now, they must get on the boat, and row upstream. Along the way, Kelly Rizzo from Erin Jackson’s team breaks, she can’t go, and she falls on her knees on the river, crying about the pain in her back and legs. Her teammates cheer her on. But she can’t do it, somehow, she gathers the courage to get with her teammates to the lake’s shore, but she breaks, takes off her arm bracelet, and quits.
Kelly becomes the seventh recruit to leave the course, and confesses that things are always hard, Bob Saget’s widow breaks down in tears in a heartwarming confessional.
The remaining teams row upstream and must move their gear up a steep hill to the waiting extraction vehicles. After that, comes a combat round where the recruits must beat the living daylights out of each other. JoJo Siwa must fight Erin and JoJo sends punches left and right, but Erin fights back until she can’t no more, and JoJo lands a major head hit and wins the fight.
