Sophia Bush and her estranged husband Grant Hughes are not in agreement regarding their prenuptial agreement.
Recent court documents reveal that the One Tree Hill alum, Sophia Bush, insists on upholding the “Unity Agreement” with her estranged husband Grant Hughes. However, Hughes argues that this agreement is invalid.
In his latest filing, Grant Hughes has requested the court to lift the mutual, temporary restraining order, a common practice in divorce cases, enabling him to invest $300,000 in real estate, specifically in Oklahoma storage facilities. Hughes’ legal team asserts that this financial move will not affect the prenuptial agreement payout if the court validates it. The court has approved Hughes’ request.
Despite a prior understanding that neither party would be obligated to offer spousal support after Sophia Bush, 41, filed for divorce in August, a recent dispute has emerged almost six months into negotiations over the division of their mutual assets.
There has been no public statement from either Sophia Bush or Grant Hughes regarding their separation, which became known just 13 months after their wedding. One month before filing for divorce, Bush shared a romantic anniversary post on Instagram, expressing her joy in calling Hughes her husband for 365 days. The post included a black and white throwback photo from their wedding day, with a caption expressing her love and happiness.
Following her separation from Grant Hughes, Sophia Bush has entered into a relationship with former soccer player Ashlyn Harris. It’s noteworthy that Harris is currently undergoing a divorce from fellow USWNT veteran Ali Krieger.
According to a source, Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris, who have been friends for years and share common social circles, went on their first dinner date a couple of weeks ago. The source noted that this development is recent, and both individuals are embarking on new chapters in their lives.
