Kakao Entertainment, the licensor of the Solo Leveling webtoon, has released the highly anticipated sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. This new webtoon comprises over 2,000 pages of content, following the main character Sung Suho and his partner, Beru.
On July 31, 2024, via Kakaopage’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok began serialization on its official webtoon site. Chapter 1, titled “Outer Gods,” is 249 pages long. The series debuted with 13 chapters, with the first three available for free. In total, this amounts to a substantial 2,531 pages for Korean-reading fans. New chapters will be released every Thursday.
As of August 1 in Korea, the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok webtoon has garnered 626,000 views and holds a rating of 9.9 stars out of 10. Despite the global anticipation for the series, no English-language release date has been announced.
The initial excitement for the series dates back to the source web novel’s debut in 2023, and it grew significantly following an ISBN application for Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. After the official announcement, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok artist JIN and author Dangdo, who oversees the story adaptation of the novel written by Daul, shared their first comments.
They expressed their dedication and enthusiasm for adapting the series, highlighting “action scenes that become more splendid with each episode.”
