Solo Leveling Chapter 199 continues the fight from the last chapter Sung Jin-Woo finds himself fighting a foe he can’t defeat. However, this is not the same Sung that we know; it is the one from the past. This Sung is a past version of when he had first gotten his powers in a time when there was peace.
Sung Jin-Woo tried to fight his way through the enemy with the dagger, who seemed to be ahead of him in every way. He didn’t think that the one he was fighting would be this strong. Though, he still thinks he has a chance against this formidable foe, as he knows his stats will help him out with what he is about to pull.
Or so he thought; the moment he went for the killer blow, his gauntlets shattered. The man broke through his attack and wasn’t even phased by that attack in the least, as if expecting it. Luckily, all this turned out to be a sparring session for Sung as the one he was facing was none other than his father.

Solo Leveling Chapter 200 will be a new mini-story with a focus on a different aspect of the hunters. Sung came back and became a detective after he came back to earth after some years. He went ahead to solve cases with the help of his powers, cases that might not have been possible within humans. Or by any normal hunter even.
But, whatever the story will have ends up being important to the second part that will be published later down the line. Just a few more chapters, and we will find ourselves waiting for more issues of the manhwa. Though, the more time it takes, the better it will be when it releases. But it would be nice if it didn’t take almost a year to resume like Return of the Mount Hua sect.
