Girls Generations’ Seohyun Talks About Emotions…

Having her feet in two different boats i.e being the idol and the actress, Seohyun talked about how she gets to let out the hidden emotions through work. She revealed that working as an idol, she often had to keep her poker face on. Everything from her facial expressions to gestures and body language needed to be ‘well-put’ on the stage. The only time she ever got to let her emotions out was the time when she got to sing. While working as an actor, she was working as a character. And hence got more independence to feel and express her emotions with honesty. Elaborating more about her emotions, Seohyun revealed that she needs to listen to herself in every moment. She comes across so many people and scenarios on a daily basis. So there is a lot of thinking going on for her.

And things have been working out for her as she’s not afraid to share these emotions these days. In the older times, she used to fight the urge to cry but now she doesn’t hesitate and let the trees flow when they need to.

On Loving Herself…

The actress also went on to admit that there are still some parts of her that she doesn’t like. And that she’s still trying to accept them. While she wanted to replace the parts of herself that she didn’t like with something better. Seohyun is working on accepting herself as she is. Leaving the denial behind and moving forward on the path of acceptance, her mind has become more free and tolerant. Her narrow point of view about wanting to keep moving forward that she’s has since she was a child is changing now too. Seohyun revealed that if you focus on moving forward without looking around, you will end up missing many great moments around you.

The actress also talked about her roles in her upcoming k-dramas and how similar the characters are to her personality. Thinking about her only life, the thought of what she lives for often comes to her mind. While she’s still not sure what she wants, she is definitely sure that she doesn’t want to live just for honor or other shiny things. Her days go by with a mix of emotions.
