Sabrina asks Maurice to accept responsibility for letting Que into his home and damaging their lives after they learn they could serve 15 years in prison, and Maurice threatens to “gut him (Que) like a fish.”
Maurice is still complaining about what Que has taken from him as they get home. Calvin urges people to enter a new industry, but they ignore him. Que is still at work, in a wheelchair, and the conflict between him and Danni is still present.
Que is back at work, and Sabrina discovers when she contacts Danni. To express to Que how much grief he has caused her, Sabrina resolves to meet with him. When Sabrina gets to the airport, she tries to reason with Que, but (at first) he doesn’t seem to be listening.
She chooses to pardon him after realizing that someone has wronged him. He sobs as he realizes that everything she has said has reached him. Hayden still has second thoughts about marrying Tamara despite learning that she is clean from Gary.
She offers to “pleasure him” at work, which makes him feel even more uncomfortable. Fatima is unsure of the whole situation and decides to back out after finding out Tamara and Hayden are wed. Tamara is “doing her thing” when Gary arrives at the workplace seeking Andi.
A new customer enters the law firm as the program comes to a close. She counsels Fatima and Andi against getting married as she files for divorce, which causes Fatima’s relationship with Zac to become uneasy.
The acting of Crystal Renee Hayslett is the episode’s standout feature. Wow. While Tyler Perry’s movies are renowned for their abundance of comedy and drama, you don’t always get fantastic acting performances that send chills down your spine. In this episode, Hayslett handed us one of those.
Many of us who have been in long-term relationships can connect to the entire Zac-Fatima-Karen love triangle because it makes for excellent entertainment. Instigating conflict between the show’s most adored relationship and characters was a risky move, but Tyler Perry and company deserve praise for pulling it off brilliantly and upsetting viewers in the process.
