Earlier this week, Elton’s husband, David, shared that Sir Elton will be joined on stage by four special guests. However, there has been no information as to who David Furnish is talking about, as he is sworn not to reveal them.
This is what Davis said to Beth Rigby of Sky News, “He just thought, ‘I’d really like to do something with these artists at Glastonbury. And that’s all I’m going to say. Sorry, I am sworn to secrecy”. He emphasized that this performance is not just another regular day for Elton but rather a very special event with a different setlist that is going to be massive in an open live festival.

Speculation is made as to who the special guests are. Speculated names that have been circulating around include Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Eminem, Ed Sheeran, and more.

In an interview with BBC Radio 1, Elton also shared that he plans to kick off his Glastonbury performance with a song he hasn’t performed in approx a decade. He encouraged fans to “expect the unexpected.” Elton initially intended to put an end to his tour two years ago, but due to the impact of COVID-19 and personal injury, he had to reschedule some dates.
Hinting at the Glastonbury festival guest list, Elton engaged in an interview with BBC Radio One’s presenter Clara Amfo and expressed that the setlist has been meticulously curated to mark the special occasion.
Sir Elton said, “It’s a different show to what people have been seeing. On Farewell Yellow Brick Road, there’s quite a lot of deep cuts, it’s not all hits, and you’ve got to keep people interested.”
