Shilong Ending Explained-
Shilong follows the story of a doctor named Miguel mourning the loss of his beloved wife, and the creditors are trying to sell the family house where Miguel lived with his wife. Miguel doesn’t want to sell the house, but his brother-in-law continuously tries to persuade Miguel to agree to sell the house.
Miguel’s brother-in-law manipulates Miguel to get him to agree to sell the house by saying his sister would want him to move on and not suffer in the house. The film moves forward, and Miguel encounters Valerie, a battered woman, on his way home. Miguel takes Valerie back to his home, where he treats her wounds as she sobs away in pain.
Valerie starts to live with Miguel, but strange occurrences start to happen after she arrives at Miguel’s house. The day Miguel takes Valerie home, she sleeps in a towel after taking a shower while Miguel continues to watch her from a distance. Miguel behaves like a gentleman towards Valerie, and he continues to treat her wounds.
As Valerie sleeps, her flashback reveals deep dark secrets from her past. Miguel asks Valerie to go to a hospital with him, but she continues to refuse his request. He then offers to take her to the police station to file a report against the person responsible for her current situation. Valerie gets angry with Miguel and tells him to stop trying to take her to a hospital or a police station as she can’t follow through.
Valerie, in a state of grief, reveals that the guy responsible for her current condition holds the position of power; thus, her attempts to get justice are futile. Valerie begins to use the products and items of Miguel’s deceased wife as she continues to live at their family home. Miguel tells Valerie everything about his deceased wife, from the first time they met to the day she died, as the duo finds comfort in each other.
A bond begins forming between Miguel and Valerie as the two continue to spend time together. Miguel asks Valerie to trust in him after he reveals how his wife died with their unborn baby after a driver hit her. After the revelation made by Miguel, Valerie tries to comfort him by hugging him, but Miguel takes a step forward, and the two end up having sex with each other.
Miguel and Valerie continued to share their feelings as they gazed at the night sky. With time Valeri’s true color begins to show, and a sinister smile of hers hides several things. The local cops pay a visit to Miguel’s house to question him about Valerie while Valerie hides under the table.
Did Valerie Survive, Or Did Miguel Kill Her?
After the cops leave Miguel’s house, Valerie begins to question him about his deceased wife. Valerie and Miguel continue their talk from the morning in the woods under the night sky. Miguel presents Valerie with the jewelry belonging to his deceased wife, and the two make love following it.
Valerie pretends to be playful with Miguel during lovemaking before she ties him to his bed. Valerie tries to kill Miguel as she has a flashback from her past where an older man abuses her, and in the heat of the moment, Valerie forgets she is with Miguel. Valerie comes back to herself after realizing she is with Mifuel and makes the revelation of killing the older men who abused her.
Valerie ran away with the money from the older men, and that is when she met Miguel on the road in a battered state as she was running from the cops. Till this moment, it appears like Valerie is the antagonist of the film, but the twist occurs when Valerie decides to leave Miguel and his house. In a fit of rage during a heated discussion between Miguel and Valerie, the former accidentally knocks the urn, which supposedly carried his deceased wife’s ashes.
The urn is empty, and Valerie continues to hurt Miguel by stabbing him, and she begins to leave after thanking Miguel for his hospitality. As Valerie is leaving, she hears screams coming from the house’s basement and discovers Migeul hiding there. She continues to attack him with a hammer, and Miguel becomes unconscious. Valerie begins to leave after stealing a cigarette from Miguel’s pocket and the necklace of his deceased wife.
The plot twist in the film comes after Valerie moves a bookshelf to discover a passage. Valerie continues down the passage to discover Miguel’s supposed deceased wife tied to the bed and missing her legs.
At the same time, Miguel enters and chokes Valeries to death. It is revealed Migel knowingly ran over his pregnant wife with his car after discovering her plans to leave him. Miguel amputates his wife’s leg to prevent her from leaving and holds her prisoner. The film ends with Miguel calling the cops and pretending to be innocent, and blaming Valerie for the home invasion.
