Spoilers
Even among the quiet murmurs of museum goers, there was a distinct chill in the air as the Lyell team walked into the King’s Cross Station Museum. Following the solemn expression of the museum curator, their footsteps reverberated off the old stone floors as they approached the scene.
Beneath the serene exterior of the museum was a chilling discovery: eight bodies, silent witnesses to a horrific past, were entombed below.
Nikki’s perceptive eyes scrutinized the surroundings, her thoughts rapidly assembling the somber riddle in front of them. Her mind was filled with recollections of previous cases, with the image of a renowned serial killer from two decades ago looming large.
This was no typical case—rather, it was a terrifying reminder of the dark past of the city. The group prepared for the difficult voyage ahead, understanding that discovering the mysteries hidden beneath King’s Cross Station would require every ounce of their abilities and willpower.
The past became more menacing with each piece of evidence uncovered, entwining itself with the present in a web of deceit and hopelessness.
Nevertheless, propelled by their unshakable dedication to justice and the solemn pledge to provide closure to the long-silenced voices of the victims and their bereaved loved ones, the Lyell team persisted.
As Nikki and her associates ventured further into the shadows, they realized that this case would be unlike any other—a terrifying plunge into the depths of human depravity where the ghosts of the past murmured their secrets, just waiting to be heard.
Recap
Jack visits the hotel where the desperate killer attempted to murder May. When Fish arrives, Jack brings him back to the Lyell. Meanwhile, Jack’s fingerprints from the hotel help identify the worthless hitman.
They discover a body inside the van that was used to kidnap the victim. Jack jokes, “No honor among thieves,” pointing out that the victim was one of the kidnappers who had been shot in the head.
Nikki thinks he’s the hitman, the one who’s finally paid the price for his misguided attempt to murder May. The dead hitman was carrying a pen, the same kind that Felix the robot had given Nikki at the conference at the beginning of the first episode featuring Kaskade, a social media company.
