Now, Anand is gearing up for his next big project, Jewel Thief, a high-stakes heist film that stars Bollywood superstar Saif Ali Khan alongside Jaideep Ahlawat, known for his role in Paatal Lok.
In a first-look teaser for Jewel Thief, Saif Ali Khan plays a seasoned and witty thief who is set to pull off his biggest heist yet. The teaser shows Khan in three different looks: as a regular, hardworking man, a seasoned collector in a pin-striped blazer and flat cap, and a confident professional who is ready for any challenge.
His character is focused on stealing a priceless jewelry piece called the “Red Sun.” The Red Sun is so valuable that it is protected by multiple laser scanners, making it nearly impossible to steal.
Khan’s character is shown making a deal with what seems to be an underworld boss, played by Jaideep Ahlawat. In this intense exchange, Khan demands a fee of 250 Crore (around $30 million) for completing the heist, suggesting that Ahlawat may offer more if that amount is not enough.
The teaser includes thrilling sequences of explosions, luxurious yachts, and a glimpse of the millionaire lifestyle. It also hints at international interest in the Red Sun, with scenes showing major cities around the world, adding to the excitement and scale of the heist.

For Saif Ali Khan, 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year. In addition to Jewel Thief, his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, is making his acting debut. Ibrahim’s debut film is a rom-com titled Nadaaniyan (“Innocence”), which will also be released on Netflix.
Directed by Karan Johar, the film stars Ibrahim alongside Kushi Kapoor, the daughter of Bollywood legend Sridevi. The first-look poster of Nadaaniyan shows the two stars in a romantic, youthful pose, promising a heartfelt and idealistic love story.
